This is a Permanent position that can be based anywhere in the UK with the ELMS Head Office based in Exeter. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday- Friday.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Technical Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and engaging with prospective customers, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions that leverage our cutting-edge aviation software. We will also require your to carry out Market Research to help understand consumer needs and preferences as well as identifying opportunities for growth. Your technical acumen and sales expertise will be crucial in articulating the value of our products to a diverse range of aviation clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients in the aviation industry, including airlines, maintenance organisations, and regulatory bodies.

  • Develop a deep understanding of ELMS Aviation’s products and services, staying updated with the latest features and enhancements.

  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the technical advantages and business benefits.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective sales strategies and campaigns.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organisations.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process and beyond, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote Elms Aviation’s offerings.

 

The successful Technical Sales Rep will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the aviation or software industry.

  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and explain complex software solutions.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior-level executives.

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of market awareness and market research to support the sales strategy.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or similar tools desirable.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

  • Willingness to travel as required.

  • Familiarity with aviation software highly desired.
